Journey to Pwllheli

Delivered Jack to Perth where we met Ian Milford and Katie in the Tesco car park at about 14:15.  Transferred Topper and gear plus Jack (and homework!) to the trailer and camper van.  They set off for Pwllheli half an our later and Jack reports that they arrived at 22:30 - good going.  Well done Ian!

Today, Saturday it has been too windy to sail so no doubt Jack has done all his homework!!!  Forecast for tomorrow is for lighter winds (W of N 13-15 knots) and no rain after 10:00.  Hoping that comes true and they manage 3 or perhaps 4 races.

Two studious companions on the downward trip meant peace and quiet and 80s hits for me. Homework done and dusted by Manchester! Another great weekend of lovely balmy British weather - full foul-weather gear out again! Plus point - no midges!
4 races were completed on Sunday with the kids coming off the water at 3.45pm. We got loaded up and headed off at 5.20 for the long drive home, arriving in Glenshee just before 2am.
Being mean parents, both kids were at school for at least part of Monday! Roll on Carsington
